LAS VEGAS (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) June 9, 2008 -- Mobile Imaging Development, LLC, a healthcare management company today announced that its limited partnership, Mobile Diagnostic Centers LP has entered into an agreement to purchase their first mobile PET/CT scanner through their strategic alliance with MEI Development Corporation of Coral Springs, Florida.

The GE Gold Seal Certified Discovery ST 4 PET/CT scanner is configured mobile ready in a trailer with a HotLab and is installed with 2D and 3D PET. “This PET/CT Scanner offers Mobile Diagnostic Centers, some of the best medical imaging technology available today,” Blumenthal added. The scanner will be installed into an Oshkosh trailer and the trailer body will be painted with the Mobile Diagnostic Centers LP logo.

The mobile imaging trailer can run on its own power source, a 100 KW Kohler diesel generator. For added safety the trailer comes with an approved anti-lock braking system.
