USAA is introducing mobile technology to enable members to self-service their banking, insurance and investment needs via web-enabled phones and PDAs. The ability to obtain insurance documentation via PDA and mobile investing are not just firsts for USAA – they're industry innovations. With USAA mobile, members can view account history, pay bills, transfer funds, view transfer activity, check account balances, request insurance documentation, check stock prices and place trades whenever/wherever they want. Members can log on to the new mobile USAA with their mobile or computer browser at mobile.usaa.com. USAA has teamed with Firethorn to provide members with the option of downloading a "smart tool" application to their phone for immediate access to their USAA accounts. Members using a slow Internet connection while attempting to access usaa.com from their computer's browser will now automatically be given the option of loading mobile.usaa.com, which is lighter on content and faster.
