Cinema Electric Opens Mexico City Office, Hires Former FOX Executive as General Manager

Cinema Electric today announced that it has opened a new office in Mexico City and expanded its Latin American operations. The company also named Victor Castanedo as general manager for Latin America.

Cinema Electric (OTCBB: CINM.PK), a world leader in “made for mobile” programming, today announced that it has opened a new office in Mexico City and expanded its Latin American operations. The company also named Victor Castanedo as general manager for Latin America. One of the leading producers and distributors of award-winning, “made for mobile” video and multimedia content, Cinema Electric content is seen in more than 50 countries throughout North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia.

Victor Castanedo will oversee Cinema Electric’s operations throughout Latin America, including managing the company’s distribution network and carrier relationships, driving sales and marketing and overseeing localized content acquisition and production. Most recently, Castanedo was general manager of FOX Mobile for Latin America, where he developed new content distribution channels and was instrumental in launching the “My FOX” platform throughout the region. Previously, he was the marketing director for DirecTV Mexico.
