Brothers Technology, LLC, an intellectual property and creative development company in Branford, CT has released its latest creation, iKandl™. iKandl is a new social networking app for Apple mobile devices. It allows users to send friends, family, and loved ones a highly personalized birthday or special occasion greeting.

Each iKandl greeting includes a voice recording and choice of cupcake with lighted candle. After listening to the greeting, the recipient can make a wish, "blow out" the candle, and then listen to celebratory applause.

iKandl greetings are sent via e-mail and can be archived, shared, or forwarded to friends. Anyone with an the iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad can download the iKandl Player for free directly from the iTunes App Store. A link is also provided at ikandl.com.

The free Player enables users to receive greetings, choose cupcakes, and play with the candle flame by blowing on it or moving the device. For $2.99, the price of a single paper greeting card, users can do an "in app upgrade" to purchase the iKandl Composer. The Composer, in addition to having the functionality of the Player, allows users to compose personal voice messages and send an unlimited number of greetings.
