Chelmsford, MA (PRWEB) November 6, 2008
Moborazzi.com is proud to announce the launch of their social photo sharing platform for mobile phones. In beta since April of 2008, Moborazzi provides mobile phone users with instant over-the-air upload and direct-to-mobile broadcasting of mobile photos to personalized networks of friends and followers. Snap a picture, post it to Moborazzi and the photo is on the phones of friends and family, posted to the web, and saved to an online Moborazzi account from anywhere, instantly.
A fun way to keep in touch. Moborazzi is about sharing moments in life while they are actually happening. Tom Boilard, founder of Moborazzi, states, "There are many mobile photo sharing sites out there today that allow users to post their photos to the web for others to see but Moborazzi doesn't stop there. Moborazzi is about sharing moments in real-time with friends and family. It's about capturing life as it is happening. It's about keeping in touch."
When a user posts a photo to Moborazzi the photo is broadcasted to a personalized network of followers almost instantly so friends actually share in the moment. Upon receiving a photo from a friend a user can can initiate a personal mobile-to-mobile conversation with the friend who posted the photo by simply replying to the message. These threaded conversations are saved for posterity and displayed along with the photo on the web, not only capturing the moment visually, but also capturing the group conversations generated by the moment. "Having the ability to comment on a photo by simply hitting reply is a very simple but powerful concept," said Tom Boilard, "users stay in the moment and have fun."
Moborazzi displays users photos as a timeline as well as simple thumbnails and users can browse photos by tags as well as member interests. Photos posted with mobile phones that support geotagging are displayed with world maps and satellite views of the exact location that the photo was taken.
