Our business solutions are cost effective. I think the one thing our industry (automotive appearance) has done is help to educate the public about cost-effective automotive repairs that aren’t watered down.

The annual Mobile Tech Expo will be taking place January 20-21, 2012 at the Worldgate Hotel and Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida. There have been many technological advancements in the automotive industry over the past year and with used car values at record highs, the automotive appearance and reconditioning industries are gearing up for the year ahead. Ultragloss will be attending the expo to meet with suppliers and other industry experts to better develop existing strategies.

“One thing I have learned over the years is if you’re not willing to advance with the technologies, you’re not willing to advance your business,” says Ultragloss founder Steve Marble, “Our business solutions are cost effective. I think the one thing our industry (automotive appearance) has done is help to educate the public about cost-effective automotive repairs that aren’t watered down.”

Ultragloss specializes in automotive appearance. They are based out of Akron, Ohio where they service a few hundred dealerships across Northeast Ohio. Ultragloss also has a retail location that services a great deal of Summit, Stark, Portage, and Cuyahoga Counties. “Our regular customers come to us before they even talk to their insurance companies. There are many times where we can save them so much money that it is not even worth it for the customer to file a claim,” Tom Pinkston, retail manager, exclaims.

“We stay ahead of the competition by keeping our repair areas small. We save our customers money by reducing product usage and production time on a repair. It is a win-win situation for everybody involved and thanks to the technological advancements, our industry is growing more efficient by the minute to meet customer demand,” Marble explains.

The Great American Group announced in October and November that new car sales are the highest they have been since 2008. A great deal of this is due to the lower interest rates and high trade in values. In order for consumers to get the best trade-in value on their vehicle, it has to look its best and that is where Ultragloss is able to help customers get more value on their trade ins. In the same way, Ultragloss has the ability to help dealerships increase their profit margins by offering an affordable service to the dealer on their car lot.
