World's Largest Exhibition of Modeling, Simulation and Virtual Reality

The largest exhibition of modeling, simulation and virtual reality in the world is scheduled to open in Orlando on November 30. Nearly 500 exhibitors, over 200,000 sq/ft of exhibition space, at theInterservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC).

Orlando, FL (Vocus/PRWEB ) November 11, 2009 -- The largest exhibition of modeling, simulation and virtual reality in the world is scheduled to open in Orlando on November 30. Featuring nearly 500 exhibitors from around the world and encompassing over 200,000 square feet of exhibition space, the event, called the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) points the way to the future for the entire M&S industry.

Among the hundreds of exhibitors will be numerous displays of medical simulation technology, including virtual ERs and emergency procedures, first response simulations, predictive simulations of disease spread, and remote surgical and other procedures. Developers of serious games can also be found throughout the exhibit floor, and a serious games competition is a favorite feature of I/ITSEC attendees.

Cross-cultural training will be prominent on the exhibit floor, using avatars, live training and immersive environments. In addition, a number of advanced special effects companies will demonstrate their technologies, including developers of the special effects in "Benjamin Button", "Letters from Iwo Jima", "Titanic" ,"Pirates of the Caribbean" and other Hollywood blockbusters.

New to I/ITSEC this year and not to be missed, is the Innovation Showcase, where cutting edge companies and Government Agencies present the newest Innovations in Training and Simulation on the exhibit hall floor, for a complete schedule visit exhibits.iitsec.org.
