Modesto Fit Body Boot Camp Owner Sonya Gonzalez

I have helped so many others change their lives and that’s what means so much to me, says Sonya Gonzalez, Owner of Modesto Fit Body Boot Camp

Modesto, CA (PRWEB) September 28, 2012

“In 2004, doctors told me I would never run again or be able to work out the way I used to,” says Sonya. “I was in pain, I became depressed and I went from 125 pounds to 160. But in 2005, I finally said ‘No way!’ and by the end of that year I had entered my first fitness show.”

Sonya trained herself for 16 weeks to enter that first figure competition in November 2005 which was a huge accomplishment in her life. It took a lot of strength and courage to transform her body and get up on that stage and ultimately chase her dreams.

Following her competition triumph, Sonya left her job with an insurance company and started a new career as a fitness trainer. She loved her work and was working very hard, but not making very much money. She had an enormous amount of heart and drive, but knew very little about fitness marketing or running a fitness boot camp business.

“I was working hard in my business but not doing so well,” she explains. I heard about Fitness Business Summit 2010 which is a great conference for personal trainers but I couldn’t afford to attend; I was broke. I entered a contest and got sponsored to attend – all expenses paid. It was awesome!”

Once again, a contest was about to turn Sonya’s life in a whole new direction.

At the summit, Sonya made a decision to join Fit Body Boot Camp and says that from that point her business and personal life were turned around. In addition to learning some great strategies for fitness boot camp marketing, she feels her sense of purpose has been renewed.

“I have helped so many others change their lives and that’s what means so much to me,” she says.

In fact, Sonya has helped several of her clients lose between 20 – 100 pounds each over the past 2 years, totaling just under 2,430 pounds of shredded fat! Clients even tell her they lose weight just by following the tips from her newsletter. Just as importantly, Sonya has truly built a family of her Modesto Fit Body Boot Camp members. It’s this terrific success and the environment she’s created for her members, which have earned her the 2012 Fit Body Boot Camp Achievement of Excellence Award.

No one would have expected this outcome on the day her doctors told her that her workout days were over. Fortunately for Sonya and her clients, she didn’t accept that prognosis.
