Number one fear of mold: "It will make me and my family sick"

Mold Inspection Sciences of Los Angeles just completed a survey of its clients to find out what they feared most about mold. The survey was simple and contained only one question: "What scares you most about mold?". The company compiled all of the results and following are the top 3 answers.

#1 - "It will make me and my family sick". This was the number one answer by a large margin. Mold can cause a variety of troubling health problems. The company's clients also commented that this was the compelling reason behind enlisting the company to perform a mold inspection of their home.

#2 - "It will damage my home and could cost a lot of money to remove". Mold problems left unaddressed can cause significant damage to a home that are expensive to repair. The best approach for homeowners is early detection through a proper mold inspection and mold testing.

#3 - "Buying a new home with a hidden mold problem". Purchasing a new home is stressful. It's a big commitment and one wants to make certain there are no hidden problems that could cost money down the road. Making a mold inspection part of the due diligence of a home purchase will help ensure the home is free of moisture and mold problems.
