Mark Maloney Brings Nation’s First and Fastest-Growing Tree Service Franchise to Lynchburg

Monster Tree Service, the nation’s first and fastest-growing tree service franchise, is expanding to Lynchburg, Virginia. Recently featured by SUCCESS magazine, Thrive Global, and Franchise Times, the Monster Tree Service franchise continues to build on its rapid three-year franchise system growth.

Entrepreneur Mark Maloney recently purchased the rights to a Monster Tree Service Territory in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was awarded the agreement in early August and hopes to officially launch in early 2019. Maloney has had a successful career as an Environmental Program Manager and is looking for a new challenge. Maloney is eager to expand his business portfolio and pursue his dream of small business ownership.

“I am excited to come on board with Monster Tree Service,” says Maloney. “I was looking for a second-act career that still involved working with the environment in a technical capacity, as I love to spend time outside whenever I can. I’m also looking forward to giving back and beautifying my community. I’m proud to offer our wide array of services, including tree trimming and maintenance, emergency tree services, plant health care and more.”

Josh Skolnick, CEO and Founder of Monster Tree Service, is confident that Maloney will be a tremendous asset to the Monster Tree Service franchise.

“I have no doubt that Mark is going to be a great addition to the Monster Tree Service family,” says Skolnick. “He has a solid business background and an incredible work ethic. We are already impressed by his performance thus far and are glad to have him join the team.”

Monster Tree Service is the only franchise tree company capitalizing on the under-served $17 billion tree service industry. Monster Tree Service has achieved consistent year-over-year, 5 percent growth since 2009, resulting in a $10+ million business. Because it’s a high-upside opportunity, and a recession-proof business, Monster Tree Service expects to achieve $100 million in sales by 2021.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Monster Tree Service franchise. I’ve really connected with both the brand and the people behind the brand. They are technical experts and very knowledgeable about the tree service industry. They also value good customer service, which I appreciate,” says Maloney. “Monster Tree Service is an exciting investment for me. The scalable, proven business model has tremendous potential, and I can’t wait to get started!”
