Giving Back in a Fun and Creative Way

The benefiting Charity for the Monster Transmission and Chick-fil-A Cruise In was the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando. Each month Monster Transmission will host a Car Show event at the Chick-fil-A in Spring Hill, Florida. All of the proceeds from the raffles, auctions and games from Monster Transmission will be given to the specific Charity of that month. Then on top of that a percentage of Chick-fil-A's sales within the Car Show time frame will be donated as well. The event has been very successful in raising awareness for the local Charities and in bring the community together.

The Early Learning Coalition offers 2 main programs, the School Readiness Program and the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program. The School Readiness Program is an income based program for families who are working, going to school and trying to better themselves and overall to become better citizens in our community. They can help them with daycare and the families costs are based on a sliding fee scale. The voluntary pre kindergarten program is actually a Florida program and is free for all Florida children who are born on or before September 1st of 2012. They are enrolling children every day. The Early Learning Coalition of Hernando and Pasco have four offices one in Brooksville, Spring Hill, Dade City, and New Port Richey. They care for over 9,000 children in Pasco and Hernando alone. Events like the Monster Transmission and Chick-fil-A Charity Cruise-In are great and bring much needed awareness about who they are and what they do.
