To say that this Harley is elaborate is an understatement
Spring Hill, Florida (PRWEB) August 24, 2012
Monster Transmission has hosted their 8th Charity Cruise-In at the Brooksville Chick-fil-A for the Brooksville Chapter 67 of Disabled American Veterans (DAV). The Cruise-In's are always a great time, and best of all free to both the car show participants and the spectators. Although the Florida weather was cloudy all day and there was some thunder in the distance the Hernando community really came through for the Chapter 67 DAV.
Each month a different Charity or Cause is invited to join the Monster Transmission, Chick-fil-A Cruise-In to benefit from the fundraising and awareness that is provided to them. This months Non Profit was for the Brooksville DAV. Monster Transmission was very excited to be able to help out their hero's in a fun and enjoyable way. The Chapter 67 DAV has been going through quite a few trials lately and were barely getting by. They've had to deal with the tough economy, flooding in their building from storms, and low attendance in Bingo participation. In short they needed help, and Monster Transmission was excited to step up and lend a hand.
A few months back the Hernando County Sherriff's office seized a 1985 Harley Davidson from an individual claiming to be a Disabled Veteran. He was driving around the country on this elaborate motorcycle scamming people from hundreds of thousands of dollars. To say that this Harley is elaborate is an understatement. The motorcycle is completely decked out with a side car, hand airbrushed murals, multiple military rifles, weapons, ammunition, various lights and a sound system. With all of those elements the motorcycle is not street legal but is an absolute show stopper. The DAV was able to bring out the motorcycle to display, accept donations and raise awareness. Having been given the motorcycle and being able to take it around to various events has given Chptr. 67 DAV a needed boost of encouragement. Monster Transmission was excited to be a part of there new found encouragement and is more than willing to step up and help. Scott Griffin, the Director of Marketing with Monster Transmission says "We can never do enough for them. They've been through so much already. Thank you all, you are a true inspiration to all of us. They are truly the backbone of this country."
