Montana Angler Fly Fishing (http://www.montanaangler.com) recently partnered with the Carrileufu Valley Lodge in Cholila, Argentina. The lodge is located in the famous Patagonia region of Argentina and is surrounded by world class fly fishing for world trout. Montana Angler is based in Bozeman, MT and specializes in designing fly fishing trips in the state of Montana but also assists travelling anglers set up trips in Argentina and Chile.
According to Montana Angler Fly Fishing outfitter Brian McGeehan: “Carrileufu Valley Lodge is located in Central Patagonia just north of Los Alceres National Park. The region receives very little fishing pressure and is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in South America. The lodge is perfectly situated to fish several world class rivers including the Rivadavia, the Carrileufu and the Chubut to name a few. The Rividavia is probably the most beautiful river that I have ever fished. Most of the rivers in the region drain large glacial lakes which filter out the sediments resulting in amazing clarity in the rivers. It often feels like you are casting into an aquarium when fishing the lakes and rivers in this area.”
Carrileufu Valley Lodge is an Orvis endorsed lodge that offers full service trips in the region. The lodge employs bilingual english speaking Argentine guides and offers transportation to and from the lodge, all meals and guiding. “We work with a wide variety of high end Montana fishing lodges and the Carrileufu Valley Lodge offers the same quality of dining and accommodations that we see from the nicer lodges here in Montana. The Argentine guides are also very knowledgeable and professional and on par with the top guides in the states,” states McGeehan.
