“Seeing all these roses is simply marvelous. It indicates our employees have a lot of love to give, not just to their significant other but also to the kids who will benefit from their generosity,” said Morgan Drexen CEO Walter Ledda.

The scent of roses and the spirit of charity filled the air this week at Morgan Drexen (http://www.morgandrexen.com) headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA. The first floor resembled a fully functioning flower shop as part of a fundraising effort to benefit Royal Family KIDS, an organization that operates life-changing camps for children who are victims of abuse or neglect.

Morgan Drexen’s 340-plus employees were given the opportunity to buy roses for their sweetheart or as a friendly surprise for a co-worker. Employees could buy red, white or yellow roses in any quantity they wanted, from a single rose to several dozen. The flowers were presented in vases with personalized cards. It was a Valentine’s Day offer that paid off in a big way, with more than 60 orders being placed, resulting in several hundred dollars raised for Royal Family Kids. A small army of workers spent hours assembling all the orders, then delivering them throughout the building. By the time Valentine’s Day arrived, Morgan Drexen was bursting with bouquets!

“Our office has never looked or smelled better!” said Morgan Drexen CEO Walter Ledda. “Seeing all these roses throughout the building is simply marvelous. It indicates our employees have a lot of love to give, not just to their significant other but also to the kids who will benefit from their generosity.”
