Novel Relates Mormon Theology, UFOs and the Occult

Futuristic novel subtly connects Mormon theology, UFOs and occult practices. It details how people are enticed to rebel against Christ 999 years after Armageddon.

The Sovereign's Last Battle

Everett, WA (PRWEB) November 25, 2008 -- The setting is nearly 1,000 years after the Battle of Armageddon. Parts of Mormon theology, UFOs, occult practices and other philosophies are used to encourage the characters to rebel against the 1,000 year rule of The Sovereign, who represents Christ. Ray Ruppert's futuristic novel, "The Sovereign's Last Battle" (paperback ISBN 978-0980062410) concludes his two-part series which started in "The Sovereign Reigns, or Does He?" (paperback ISBN 978-0980062441.)

Ruppert states that his goal is to answer the question, "How could anyone be deceived and rebel against Christ while he is physically ruling on earth?" His book paints a realistic picture of the utopian life under the strict rule of The Sovereign. His characters are convinced to rebel as Satan resurrects his best tricks to lead people astray.

Ruppert's characters must decide if The Sovereign is who he claims to be, or if The Chancellor, who has been imprisoned 999 years, will free mankind to ascend and create their own worlds - the root of Mormon theology. Some encounter aliens as they explore the universe. The alien crafts resemble current UFOs and they claim to represent The Chancellor. These aliens introduce occult techniques to achieving the path to ascension and enlightenment. Everyone must choose to support either the Chancellor or The Sovereign in the final battle.

Ruppert states, "I have purposely created the characters and action so that it isn't immediately easy to discern between the good guys and the bad. I want readers to be challenged regardless of their beliefs regarding Christ."

One reader comments about Ruppert's books, "I am totally impressed with how creative and full of action these books truly are. These good, clean, action-packed books will really get your adrenalin going. They have you questioning what the right road in life really is...and if you're on it."

Ray Ruppert is also the author of a commentary on the book of Revelation and a home Bible study leader for his church. Mr. Ruppert's web site is http://www.rayruppert.com
