Monica lost 60 pounds following the Quick Weight Loss program, losing 38 inches and going from a size 16 to a size 4. Monica says she was inspired to lose weight for her children, explaining, "With three young children, I worried that they would have to deal with being overweight. The winners of the Quick Weight Loss Challenge were selected from a group of 25 finalists. Pictures of the finalists, along with their weight loss stories, can be viewed at http://quickweightloss.net/finalists. Together, the 25 $10,000 Weight Loss Challenge finalists lost over 1500 pounds! They ranged in age from 13 to 60 years old, and had a wide variety of occupations, including a doctor, a police officer, a teacher, a dancer, a nurse and a restaurant employee.
The 25 finalists came from cities all over South Florida, including Boca Raton, Coconut Grove, Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach, Hialeah, Kendall, Lake Worth, Lighthouse Point, Miami, Miramar, North Miami Beach, Palm Springs, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Port St. Lucie, Wellington and West Palm Beach.
