Companies are switching to multicore processors which is fueling demand for software developers with specialized training in parallel programming. To meet that demand, nCore Design has partnered with ExitCertified for three days of in-person training in the US and Canada.

nCore Design Offers Multicore Programming Training Courses

Companies are transitioning their products to support multicore processors and looking for programmers with specialized skills and training. Our course is designed to bridge the knowledge gap by training developers to design and develop efficient applications for multicore processors

nCore Design today announced a partnership with ExitCertified to deliver in-depth, comprehensive multicore programming training classes in North America and Canada. The instructor-led training courses are three days and begin on April 27, 2009.

The training covers theoretical concepts and hands-on approaches to programming multicore processors in C/C++ and will highlight solutions for designing multithreaded algorithms. It will teach modern methods of parallel programming including how to deal with the various aspects of synchronization, multithreading libraries like Intel Threading Building Blocks, processor caches and shared memory.

Pre-requisites for the class are knowledge of the C++ programming language and C++ software development experience. It is designed for software architects, software developers, software team leaders and managers. Attendees will be taught the necessary theory and skills to implement efficient software running on multicore processors.

More companies have switched to multicore hardware recently because higher performance applications demand it. They need programmers who understand the complexities of developing on multicore platforms. In the courses, developers will get hands-on training to increase their understanding of parallel programming.

"Companies are transitioning their products to support multicore processors and looking for programmers with specialized skills and training. Our course is designed to bridge the knowledge gap by training developers to design and develop efficient applications for multicore processors," said Ian Lintault Managing Director at nCore Design LLC.

nCore Design hopes to help software developers update their skills in these advanced software development methods so they can remain competitive in today's turbulent job market.
