Jay Freedman, the force behind innovative corporate marketing programs that generated more than $40 million in just six years, has launched Fusion Innovative Marketing (http://www.fusioninnovation.com), a multimedia cross-platform marketing firm. Fusion has already been hired to create and implement marketing campaigns for radio stations owned by significant broadcasters including Beasley, CBS Radio, ABC Radio, Cumulus, Greater Media, Emmis, Citadel and Entercom. In addition, Fusion is in process of signing deals with other nationally known corporations.
Freedman is a 20 year marketing veteran who spent nearly a decade as Vice President of Marketing for Clear Channel & Premiere Radio Networks. He developed marketing solutions for hundreds of stations and their clients through more than 500 custom programs a year. Freedman also created strategies and marketing plans for SFX Sports, SFX Entertainment, Clear Channel Entertainment and Multimedia, supporting an array of national marketing objectives and corporate initiatives. Previously, Freedman promoted concerts in Miami and throughout the Southeast, directed radio promotions in collaboration with Universal Music Entertainment and Sony Music, and led global marketing efforts for large consumer brands Ocean Pacific, Jimmy'z, and Bum Equipment.
Fusion will concentrate in three distinct areas--live events, sports promotion and marketing, and broadcast sales marketing. Client programs will scale according to need, from local to national in scope.
In making the announcement, Freedman commented, "In such a wide-open, cutthroat environment, it's an absolute must to constantly innovate and develop new programs for advertisers. The key is to bring more value to your clients and differentiate yourself from the competition. Fusion is assembling a world class support staff, (including rejoining key former members) featuring the industry's best sport writers, graphic designers, web designers and programmers. In addition, Fusion has entered into a strategic creative services partnership with Steelhead Advertising, an award winning Oregon-based creative agency.
