Internet delivery will continue to improve the way companies update their Music On Hold content, said Brian Schroeder of Premier Technologies. Clients want to change rapidly without the hassle of sending physical media, such as tapes and CD's
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) September 15, 2010
Premier Technologies Inc., a leading provider of digital audio solutions for the Voice & Data industry, announced today its release of a Music On Hold player that allows for remote (Ethernet) delivery of Music On Hold audio. Ideal for multi-site companies, the Hybrid 7100 can rapidly deliver MP3 On Hold music and messages to remote locations without the need for on-site involvement.
On Hold music and message updates can be delivered remotely to the device by a 3rd party service provider, or by the end user's IT staff using the Wide Area Network. The Hybrid 7100 will ensure timely delivery of new content, to coincide with a company's time-sensitive ad campaigns or important messages that are conveyed to customers while on hold.
The Hybrid 7100 is connected to an available Ethernet connection as well as the Music On Hold port of a telephone system. The 7100 device uses network DHCP and has a built-in web GUI to assist during installation. This web GUI allows the installer to assign static IP settings, if required.
MP3 file(s) are then loaded into flash memory on the equipment for reliable and consistent audio playback.
