Chicago rock funk outfit, Lubriphonic, announced today its exclusive relationship with Progressive Global Agency, the successful office handling such international talent as R.E.M., Widespread Panic, Dead Confederate and many others.
Veteran PGA agent Daniel Titcomb will be handling the booking for all of Lubriphonic's upcoming shows, who tour an average of over 175 shows a year. The agency recently secured Lubriphonic as the opening act for the U.K. act The New Mastersounds on an April tour of the Southeast culminating in a show in New Orleans during Jazz & Heritage Festival. In celebration the group is offering a free download of over 90 minutes of live recordings via its website.
Chicago's Lubriphonic has a tight and raw sound which is immediately familiar, fusing the roots of soul with explosive in-your-face delivery and sensuous R&B dance music.
