Carrollton, TX (PRWEB) June 19, 2012

IDEATIVE has recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to introduce their newest product, frām™ - the picture frame case for iPhones. frām users can change their iPhone’s case design in just 90 seconds at little or no cost.

The variable design of the case relies on the clear back-side which allows full visibility to a photo of your choice: child, pet, spouse, vacation spot, sports team, etc. The ingenious part is how quickly and easily a new photo can be interchanged.

The clear back-side of the case pops out and acts as a template. Users simply position the template over a new photo, trace around the outside, and cut with scissors. The result is a new image perfectly sized for the frām case. The entire process only takes about 90 seconds, and the only cost is the price of printing the new photo.

In addition to photos, any printed image can be inserted into a frām case: images from web sites, cut-outs from magazines, brochures, sports programs, the list is endless. Using the planned frām app, you’ll even be able to select a photo from your iPhone, enlarge or shrink to the perfect size, and print it with traced lines ready to cut.

Consumers will never feel the need to buy a new iPhone case to simply upgrade to a new style. Now, they only need a photo, pen, scissors and 90 seconds.

The concept for frām originated when IDEATIVE's co-founder Tavis Schriefer was shopping for iPhone cases with his wife. "You want a case to protect your iPhone, but you also want one that's appealing and an expression of yourself," said Schriefer. "Finding the right case to express yourself is much like finding the perfect greeting card in an isle full of mass-produced cards; it’s never truly yours and you always settle for a something less."

The case is constructed from high strength polycarbonate for durability and superior protection. All iPhone controls are easily accessible and the case is compatible with docking stations. The clear back-side acts as both a picture frame and a removable template to help mark the proper cut lines for a photo or image. The resulting marks are all straight lines that can easily be cut with a standard pair of scissors. The frām is simply re-assembled by placing the template inside the case, placing the photo onto the template and snapping the iPhone into place.

With multiple patents pending, frām is conceived and designed in the Dallas suburb of Carrollton, Texas USA by Tavis Schriefer and Ed Stanfield of IDEATIVE, a veteran-owned small business since 2002. IDEATIVE's other successes include their Socket Sense® surge protectors and FlexUSB™ adapters and cables, all available in retail channels.

To make frām a reality, the company has turned to Kickstarter, the project-driven crowd-funding website. Their objective is to raise $30,000 to help offset the product development costs and bring the product to the market faster than otherwise possible.

Through the Kickstarter project, early adopters have the opportunity to get frām for $25 (USD) in advance, versus the $30 retail price when the product becomes available in the next few months. Shipping is available worldwide. Find out more by visiting the Kickstarter project at http://kck.st/M3RevK.
