MIBAR.net announces the release of its Paid Time Off Management Software or PTOMS, a web-based solution that helps organizations track paid time off (PTO) and control the cost of employee absenteeism in the workplace. The solution will be marketed through its own website at MyPAIDLEAVE.com.

Built on Microsoft SharePoint and .Net technologies, the solution provides businesses of all sizes with the high level of flexibility needed to accommodate any paid time off tracking and absence management needs.

Organizations using PTOMS can establish their own hierarchal structure to control the built in workflow designed around the PTO request and approval process. Additionally the software keeps track of an unlimited number of user defined absence types, each of which can be accrued at different rate.

Employees using PTOMS are provided with a personalized workspace where they log in to submit time off requests, as well as view their PTO balances, absence history and shared workgroup calendar in real time. Once a request is made, the employee's manager is notified automatically via email with all the details of the request- and once approved, time off balances are updated automatically.

By simplifying and controlling the process of requesting and approving paid time off, while automating the calculation of time off balances and maintenance of absence records, PTOMS strives to reduce the amount of human error involved in keeping track of employee absence and consequently, minimize any associated costs.
