Yorkshire based Broadband and Phone provider Plusnet has launched a new acquisition campaign with online UK wine retailer Naked Wines.
Every new customer signing-up to one of their award-winning broadband packages before 14th April will receive six free bottles of wine worth £50.
Ben Hopkins, Head of New Business at Naked Wines said: “Plusnet has a refreshingly simple proposition and a great tone and style, and we’re delighted to be teaming up with them. We’re confident our campaign will generate a healthy uplift in sales and we look forward to testing further incentives over the next few months. Customers who take up the offer can enjoy 6 delicious bottles of wine pre-selected with Plusnet, or alternatively use their £50 credit towards any other 6 or 12 bottle case.”
Amy Allen, Affiliate Marketing Manager at Plusnet added: “We were looking for a partner to offer our customers a strong value-for-money gift when they ordered Plusnet broadband. We chose Naked Wines because of their delicious wines and unique social offering, where customers can have a hand in funding and supporting the winemakers. We're launching the promotion across our affiliate partners as well as in emails, and we're looking forward to measuring the results."
Plusnet, which launched in 2007, claims that it ‘won’t be beat’ on standalone broadband price, and places a strong emphasis on getting to know their customers through their community blogs and forums - a focus which won them the ISPA’s Best Consumer Customer Service Award 2010.
Naked Wines, which launched at the end of 2008, describes itself as a hybrid of wine merchant and social network, funding independent winemakers from around the world – and they recently won Online Retailer of the Year at the Drinks Retailing Awards.
