For the past 33 years, Samarasinghe has been following a swami with an estimated 35 million devotees around the world, many of whom worship him as the incarnation of God, Jesus, Buddha, Rama or Krishna.

Nandini Samarasinghe shares her experiences studying with a world-renowned swami in her new book, “My Rama My Swami” (published by Balboa Press).

“The last few decades witnessed a shift in human interest to know the truth of who they are – to be connected to the love and freedom we knew as children,” Samarasinghe writes. “Thus, a surge of New Age religion, new interpretations to sacred texts and mystics, spiritual masters and gurus of different shades, both genuine and frauds. This book deals with many pertinent angles and ground level realities of those paths.”

For the past 33 years, Samarasinghe has been following a swami with an estimated 35 million devotees around the world, many of whom worship him as the incarnation of God, Jesus, Buddha, Rama or Krishna. “My Rama My Swami” chronicles her experiences after she left the comforts of home to live in a distant ashram to follow her swami. Her story reveals an epic struggle between light and darkness and, she says, is an “inspiring read for every seeker of heart”.
