Mary Steinbacher, award-winning wedding and travel photographer will relocate to Napa Valley, California. She is very familiar with the California lifestyle, having lived there previously for over 15 years. Her excitement to bring her photography skills to Napa Valley, Tahoe and the Bay Area stems from the great light, warmth and weather that are synonymous with those areas.

As a wedding photographer in the Bay Area, Mary states, " The photographic opportunities of Napa and California are engaging to me as I'm always searching for great light and opportunities to use the warmth, shadows and depth created by shifting light situations". Her aim is to take wedding photography to a higher level and give it that extra spark. "It is a given that great wedding photography comes from a fun bride and groom, a beautiful or interesting location and the influence of weather and light." she comments. Wedding photography in Napa Valley, Tahoe and the Bay Area is particularly blessed with these elements.

Mary Steinbacher has been shooting weddings for 14 years. She notices that it is increasingly common for a bride to be ready quite early with plenty of time to enjoy the company of her friends and family. "The extra time allowed me to hang back and from a distance, shoot the fun and happenings as the bride simply enjoyed the moment, laughed, cried and connected with her day." The result of this shift in timing often results in more photos particularly those of a relaxed bride. "I've found that what happens is often magical, and time, no matter how it's utilized, can offer exactly what is wanted on a wedding day."

Steinbacher is also a destination wedding photographer as well as a destination corporate photographer. She travels and will continue to travel to shoot destination events. " Yes, gas prices are much higher but I'm finding that airfares are still very reasonable."
