The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Sam (Alexandra) Semchenko as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

As VP / Creative Director of BCBArt, Sam Semchenko has parlayed a passion for art and more than 20 years in advertising into an exciting career surrounded by the work of world-renowned artists. Located in New York’s historic Hudson Valley, the gallery exhibits works by artists Lucio Pozzi, Barbara Friedman, Rodney Alan Greenblat, Michael Lindsay-Hogg and others.

Before transitioning into the world of art, Ms. Semchenko worked as a Forensic Scientific Analyst in oncology litigation for Jacob, Medinger & Finnegan, a major product liability law firm. She was also a Senior Medical Writer for Mathew Bender & Company, publisher of analytic legal research and Group Copy Supervisor for FCB HealthCare, a leader in healthcare advertising.

After leaving FCB HealthCare, Ms. Semchenko joined Harrison & Star as VP / Associate Creative Director. Her advertising and medical copywriting background assisted in her transition into an in-demand consultant for industry leaders such as Publicis, Epocrates and WebMD. As a woman who is passionate about both art and science, Ms. Semchenko is an example of someone who combined her exceptional capabilities into a new and rewarding career.
