“I’m pleased to welcome Kelly into this exceptional group of professional women,” said NAPW President Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”
Starting her career in child care in 1987 and later assuming a role as Kindergarten Teacher at Davis Child Care Center, Kelly Zdanovec assumed the role of Executive Director within 11 months. “The dedication and commitment from our teachers show in our no-turnover status. Our playgrounds are exceptional, providing age-appropriate play opportunities for all of our children.”
Part of Ms. Zdanovec’s job duties as Executive Director includes community collaborations. She works closely with the Oshkosh, WI, Area School District by hosting 4K Ready 4 Learning sites, the Fox Valley Technical School hosting education students and networks with Child Care Center Directors.
Ms. Zdanovec’s hard work has not gone unnoticed, as she is a member of the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Child Care Administrators Association. In addition, Davis Child Care Center was voted Best in Oshkosh in 2009, 2014 and 2015, and was nationally accredited in August 2013.
