National Association of Professional Women Inducts Rachel Lethorn, M.S., PA-C, ATC, Owner of Med Sports Vantage, LLC, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) July 18, 2017 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Rachel Lethorn as a 2017-2018 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. Rachel Lethorn is a Certified Medical Practitioner, Certified Physician Assistant and Athletic Trainer. She is the Owner of Med Sports Vantage, LLC, a company that “provides education and assistance on a wide array of sports medicine and health and wellness vitality for all ages and sports levels.” A former collegiate gymnast who now works as a medical professional with USA Gymnastics and Gymnastics Austrailia, Ms. Lethorn’s specialties include pediatrics, ADHD/ADD, sports medicine, nutrition, public speaking and gymnastics.
A winner of a Shark Tank pitch contest, Ms. Lethorn has partnered with an investor to market her invention The Massage Tracker, a muscle massage/manipulation device that uses a tennis ball. A staunch believer in giving back to the community, Ms. Lethorn also donates her skills and time at Another Way Pregnancy Center, Inc., where she is the Medical Manager and on the board of directors. She is also Chief of the Medical Advisory Board for First Responders for Fitness.
Ms. Lethorn has a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s in Sports Medicine from Eastern Michigan University. She competed in NCAA Div. I gymnastics for Eastern Michigan University and continues to be involved in the sport in her work as a medical professional and as a judge.
