The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Betty A. Atwell as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. "I'm pleased to honor Betty Atwell with this prestigious award," said NAPW President Star Jones. "Her knowledge and experience in the fine art of jewelry making are valuable assets to her company and community."
Betty Atwell dabbled in the arts while raising her children. “As a sixth- generation Texan, I grew up with two very talented parents who oozed creativity,” she said. After an evening of beading with her favorite cousin, she was struck with the thought that creating art was what made her happiest. Today, as Owner of Betty Atwell Design, Ms. Atwell’s stunning creations are sought after internationally for their elegance and timeless beauty.
No two pieces are alike. Ms. Atwell mixes lapis lazuli, crystals and other semi-precious stones and metals into unique creations that reflect her special talent and appreciation for design. Her inventory consists of bracelets, rings and earrings encrusted with complimenting stones.
For her fearless pursuit of professional and personal fulfillment, Ms. Atwell is being honored by NAPW and for her exemplary achievements as an artist and role model and inspiration for all women.
