Ms. Coupland is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. “I started in the industry over 24 years ago working as a temporary administrative employee,” says Ms. Coupland, Sr. Manager - Regulatory, Security & Training at Holly Energy Partners. “My goal was to work for a company who stood strong in the community and endeavored to create a growing and successful work environment for its employees.”
Ms. Coupland, who has a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from Kaplan University, found that type of company 14 years ago when she joined Holly Energy Partners, formerly Navajo Pipeline Company, which specializes in petroleum products and pipeline transportation. Using the administrative and leadership skills she honed during her time working at various companies, Ms. Coupland has been able to steadily grow with the firm. “My responsibilities have expanded throughout the years to include internal and external compliance with local, state and federal regulations, corporate security management, safety and employee training,” she says.
As Sr. Manager – Regulatory, Security & Training, she works closely with subject matter experts, government agencies and industry partners developing all compliance plans, while overseeing each of the compliance, security and training aspects within the company. An exceptional leader who excels at effective communication, Ms. Coupland finds the team-oriented atmosphere at Holly Energy Partners most rewarding. “Supporting and working with my peers and coworkers, and to be supported by them every day as we serve together in this company, is truly a blessing,” says Ms. Coupland, who is committed to doing her part to ensure the company’s continued success.
