The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Joanne Saniewski as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in education. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

As Principal of Big Tree Elementary School of the Frontier School District, Joanne Saniewski has many responsibilities. Her expertise includes understanding the needs of every child, administrative duties and keeping the school on track to meet the highest educational standards.

What sets Ms. Saniewski apart from others in her field is her constant drive for successful educational programs and true dedication to each and every child who attends Big Tree Elementary School and their families. It’s through this dedication that she is able to provide the utmost professionalism and educational practices. Ms. Saniewski’s passion lies in her position as principal and shows her desire to better society and her school. The hope of touching at least one child’s life is enough to keep Ms. Saniewski pushing forward, no matter the obstacles that might arise. It’s also why she is part of the School Administrators Association of New York State (SAANYS), which supports school leaders to help build a brighter future for the students of New York.
