The National Association of Professional Women announced today that Star Jones, President, will be hosting an exclusive two-hour NAPW Power Networking Event at the DoubleTree By Hilton in San Jose on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm.
This outstanding networking event taking place after the Professional Diversity Career Fair affords NAPW members the opportunity to network with executive recruiters from major local and national companies; connect with other NAPW members; and meet with employers in a fun, relaxed setting so they can find their next big career opportunity. The day’s event include educational sessions and workshops as well.

In 2014, Star Jones became President of Professional Diversity Network, and at 52, is the youngest of the small circle of African-American women in the US who lead a publicly traded company. As part of her responsibilities, Star leads a team dedicated to supporting and advocating for an over 4-million member network of diverse job seekers along with providing expanded career opportunities for over 600,000 diverse professional women members in the over 200 Chapters of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW).
