National Association of Professional Women Announces Deborah J. Sabo, Technical Consultant at Clinical Lab Consulting, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year

Deborah J. Sabo is recognized as an NAPW VIP Woman of the Year for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession.

My biggest accomplishment has been achieving my dream of working in the field I love.

NAPW honors Deborah J. Sabo, Technical Consultant at Clinical Lab Consulting, as a 2014 Professional Woman of the Year. Ms. Sabo is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in Quality Control and Laboratory Compliance. As the largest, most-recognized networking organization of professional women in the country, spanning virtually every industry and profession, the National Association of Professional Women is a powerfully vibrant networking community with over 600,000 members and nearly 300 local chapters.

“My biggest accomplishment has been achieving my dream of working in the field I love,” says Deborah Sabo, who was always fascinated with science. It was an interest that would eventually put her on the road to her lifelong career as a clinical technologist. Her experience includes working with diagnostic tests and analyses at hospitals, and at clinical laboratories and physician office laboratories to help with diagnoses.

Early in her career, Ms. Sabo was responsible for a number of tasks, including chemical analysis of blood and body fluids and radioimmunoassay. Today, due to her extensive experience, Ms. Sabo takes on more senior responsibilities including monitoring OSHA adherence and CLIA compliance in the lab, while still maintaining a hands-on approach, and managing her staff. Ms. Sabo has extensive knowledge of numerous tests including toxicology and drug tests to determine dosages for pain management.

Clinical Lab Consulting is a nationwide company, offering technical and clinical consulting laboratory services, as well as training in all clinical laboratory specialties including regulatory, managerial and financial services.
