The Buffalo Chapter met at the Realty USA office at 3195 Niagara Falls Blvd, in Amherst New York at 7pm.

Members in attendance included: Nicki Land; Katherine Campbell; Joanne Klenk; Merry Constantino; Sally Lewis; Sara Anderson; Anna Sadowski; Jordana Tarnev; and Maria Tarnev-Wydro, President.

Chapter President Maria Tarnev-Wydro kicked off the meeting with a discussion of the latest policy from a speech by President Obama about product exportation to other countries. The president is looking to help US firms export their goods to foreign countries. Maria wanted to see if this new initiative would have any interest or impact on any of the members and/or their businesses. There was a short discussion about this topic.

The chapter then held a discussion and overview of the benefits and opportunities available to NAPW members. Topics included the website, marketing, and networking opportunities locally and nationally.

The chapter conducted an introduction of everyone in attendance. Each attendee had 3-5 minutes to explain their business and services.

"Our 3-5 minute presentations give us a chance to see how our business products and services may benefit other members," Maria said.

A presentation was held by Sally Lewis about Home Staging and how it can sell your home faster for more money, especially in a down economy. Sally will also be giving a presentation on marketing a business in November at the Hilton.

The chapter instituted a monthly presentation “sign-up sheet” to keep track of future presenters for each meeting. Members have already signed up for future meetings and presentations for the upcoming months.

It was agreed that the NAPW Buffalo Chapter will meet every third Tuesday of the month starting in October at 6pm. Attendees and guests will have a consistent meeting date each month. The earlier starting time is more convenient. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 18th at 6pm. The meeting location is 300 Spindrift, Amherst, NY and the hostess is Joanne Klenk.
