NAPW’s Mesa Local Chapter gathered for a professional networking meeting and an exciting presentation held by guest speaker Desiree Ford, Owner of Pink Media, LLC., at On The Boarder restaurant. Members in attendance were Jennifer Butler-Williams, Deena Sample, Plynn Gutman, and Patti Oskvarek.
Jennifer kicked off the meeting with a warm welcome to all members present, followed by networking and formal introductions. Each member gave out business cards, spoke about their business, and discussed ways to gain a larger clientel and how they can each support one another. The NAPW banner was displayed in the center of the restaurant allowing members to take photos in front of it.
Jennifer passed out NAPW gifts she received from NAPW National that excited all members of the Chapter. Each member received their own personal NAPW leather bound journal with pen, post-its, pins, and other great gifts.
The group then gave their attention on presenter and guest speaker Desiree Ford, Owner of Pink Media, LLC.

Desire educated the group on the importance of social media strategy and its concepts of listening, engaging, and measuring for a business. She then relayed her contact information and mentioned that if the group was interested in receiving media tips each day, to text “Get Pink” to 72727. She also indicated that if members were interested in hosting a Facebook party, learning about Facebook and its upcoming change, to text "Desiree" to 72727, or Phone 623-850-1325.
As the meeting came to an end, Jennifer thanked Desire for presenting and all those who
attended. She briefly spoke about the next upcoming meeting at R.T. O’sullivans and to refer back to the Local Chapters page for additional information.
