“We welcomed new members, connected with each other, recapped our last meeting, and discussed some exciting plans for our Chapter this year.”

The Chapter President announced the names of women who recently joined the Chapter, including Jennifer Cofer, Tonya Vanterpool, Sharon Davis, and Alicia D. Myers-McCoy, and welcomed the women to the Clarksville Local Chapter.

She also relayed an email she had received from member Tenesa Davis who had recently attended a monthly meeting. In her email, Tenesa said she had thoroughly enjoyed the Chapter meeting she had attended and although unable to attend this meeting, she was looking forward to future meetings.

“A vigorous conversation took place about how to strengthen the Clarksville Local Chapter in 2013 and how to make monthly meetings more convenient so that even more members from Clarksville and the surrounding area could attend and become more involved,” said the Chapter President.

The Chapter explored the idea of sending out a member questionnaire to better meet the goals and needs of the local members.

“We talked about emailing a questionnaire to members. The questionnaire would be short in length but contain pertinent questions that should aid us in gathering information about what members are looking for when it comes to Chapter meetings,” said Cheryl.

The group of professional women formulated several questions that will be included in the questionnaire and it was decided that it would be sent out no later than Monday, February 11th with a suspense date of Monday, February 18th.
