NAPW Rochester, NY Local Chapter Gathered to Network and Discuss Plans for Official Launch Meeting at April Event

National Association of Professional Women Rochester, NY Local Chapter got together in April to network, support one another and set plans in place for Chapter’s official June launch.

We discussed topics and items that are important to us such as supporting each other in our personal and business lives, bouncing ideas off of each other and sharing our professional expertise and life experiences with one another.

Members and guests of the NAPW Rochester, NY Local Chapter got together on April 30th for a professional networking meeting at 120 Corporate Woods in Rochester.

This was the second pre-launch gathering for the group of professional women, who networked, got to know one another better, and discussed plans for the Chapter’s official launch event that is sent for June 4th.

“The members of the NAPW Rochester Local Chapter are looking forward to welcoming like-minded professional women in the greater Rochester and surrounding areas to join the upcoming launch of this motivated and enthusiastic Chapter,” said Rochester Chapter President Jennifer Bulkley.

The Chapter President opened the meeting by introducing herself and offered tasty sweets, fruit and drinks to members and guests. She then proposed the agenda for the evening. There were introductions all around and each member and guest shared a brief overview of her personal and professional goals, aspirations and successes with the others.

Jennifer Bulkley also introduced the Chapter’s newest member, Paula Popper, who is the Owner of Inner Peaceworks and an excellent addition to the group. Ms. Popper uses coaching, hypnosis and visualization techniques to help individuals make changes in their lives, manage chronic pain, improve performance and conquer fear. On another note, Paula was described as “insanely curious.” The Chapter President announced that Ms. Popper will be presenting at the Chapter launch meeting.

After introductions, the group of professional women discussed what they would like to do for the Chapter launch. Members and guests talked about why they want to be part of the Rochester Local Chapter and came up with a number of activities they can do together

“Since we are all busy, we discussed why we want to make the most of the time we meet once a month,” said Chapter President Jennifer Bulkley.

“We discussed topics and items that are important to us such as supporting each other in our personal and business lives, bouncing ideas off of each other and sharing our professional expertise and life experiences with one another.”

At the conclusion of the networking meeting, the Chapter President reminded members and guests that the Rochester, NY Chapter will officially launch on June 4th at 6:30pm at 120 Corporate Woods, in Rochester, in the second floor conference room.

Paula Popper will be the guest speaker and an array of refreshments will be provided.

“This will be a great time to meet other Chapter members and guests and get the NAPW Rochester Local Chapter off to a great start!” said Chapter President Jennifer Bulkley.

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) is the largest and most recognized network of female professionals.
