Arcata employees on the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) Project Team received an NASA Group Achievement Award at the 2012 NASA Honor Awards ceremony held at Stennis Space Center, Miss., on August 8, 2012.
Stacey Goodloe, Brian Spencer, Nick Bresett, Thomas Matthews, Tim Smith and Tim Bunch received recognition for: “exceptional performance in developing and implementing the ESD - to provide the Tier 0/1 Help Desk and Service Ordering Catalog for the Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure Integration Program (I3P) Program.”
In addition, Brandi Head, IT support specialist, Arcata, received an NSSC Certificate of Achievement "in appreciation for the organization, coordination and technical design of the NASA Human Resources Messaging System (HRMES)." HRMES enables NASA HR to send specific messages to NASA employees based on organization, duty station, pay plan, occupation type and health plan, etc. The effort produced by Ms. Head will help to reduce the number of generic HR-related messages received for the agency.
The awards were presented by Christopher Scolese, director, Goddard Space Flight Center and Michael Smith, executive director, NSSC.
