The United States Naval Academy is excited to announce their new rivalry uniforms for the 2018 Army-Navy game. In participation with the iconic children's toy brand, Fisher Price & Little People, this year's uniform also marks the launch of Navy's 'participation trophy promise' program and their new mascot 'Billy' the goat.
"We've considered many ways to bring the Naval Academy brand and spirit to America's youth," said Vice Admiral Walter “Ted” Carter Jr., the current Naval Academy Superintendent. "Fisher Price and the Little People brand is the perfect match for our midshipeople."
The 'participation trophy promise' program is designed to get kids outside and compete without keeping score - so there are no winners or losers. Recognized as the historic creator of the participation trophy concept, the United States Naval Academy is proud to be a leader in this important athletic philosophy.
