NetSimplicity, leading provider of flexible, easy-to-use room scheduling software, today announced the release of Meeting Room Manager 8.2 further extending NetSimplicity’s tradition of delivering the technology necessary for organizations to increase productivity, drive organizational efficiency and reduce operational costs. With a new public calendar add-on; advanced reporting capabilities; and enhanced administration, calendar and workflow features, Meeting Room Manager continues to be a powerful software solution that organizations can depend on for their room and resource scheduling needs.
“With more than 3,000 customers deploying Meeting Room Manager, the solution has proven its effectiveness and positive impact on an organization’s bottom line,” said Mike Galyen, Vice President of Products, Technology and Services for NetSimplicity. “Meeting Room Manager 8.2 was designed to build upon this core foundation and offer customers new capabilities to meet their growing needs. Time is money and in today’s economy the right technology can go a long way.”
Developed to simplify room and resource scheduling, Meeting Room Manager eliminates the challenges and inefficiencies associated with manual processes and helps organizations increase productivity with minimal impact to their everyday activities. Meeting Room Manager 8.2 offers organizations a number of new features including two optional add-ons:
- SocialView offers users the ability to seamlessly share a company’s room reservations and events through private and public calendars published on the web. Users can make calendars public without using concurrent licenses and public audiences can request a room without logging in. In addition, the SocialView Public Calendar can be embedded into an existing website or SharePoint site.
- Reports Designer provides advanced customization features for reporting with a self-service, browser-based tool. Users can create new reports with 3-D charts, modify existing standard MRM reports, and save and export reports into most standard file formats.
In addition to the optional add-ons, Meeting Room Manager 8.2 users can take advantage of key enhancements to existing features found in the original Meeting Room Manager product including:
- Automated meeting request workflows.
- Improved calendar views, search forms and queues.
- Interactive room booking and display devices with RoomWizard support.
- And, an enhanced administration console.
Meeting Room Manager 8.2 is available immediately for both new and existing NetSimplicity customers. And, as with all NetSimplicity solutions, it is available through a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery model.
