Austin, Texas (PRWEB) August 24, 2006
For the second consecutive year, NetQoS® Inc. has been named to the Inc. 500 list of the country’s fastest growing private companies. NetQoS is the only network performance management vendor and one of only 22 software vendors in the United States to make the list.
“NetQoS made the Inc. 500 list for two years in a row for a simple reason: Corporate end users expect a ubiquitous and instantaneous network, and we are helping their employers deliver it,” said Joel Trammell, NetQoS CEO. “NetQoS software and services enable the world’s largest organizations – including eight of the Fortune 12 – to cope with the increasing volume and complexity of network traffic by improving application performance across the wide area network, whether delivered across town or around the globe.”
The 2006 Inc. 500 list measures revenue growth from 2002 through 2005. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of December 31, 2005, and have at least $600,000 in net sales in the base year.
“If you want to find out which companies are going to change the world, look at the Inc. 500,” said Inc. Editor Jane Berentson. “These are the most innovative, dynamic, fast-growth companies in the nation, the ones coming up with solutions to some of our most intractable ills, creating systems that let us conduct business faster and easier, and manufacturing products we soon discover we can’t live without. The Inc. 500 list is Inc. magazine’s tribute to American business ingenuity and ambition.”
NetQoS had a banner year in 2005, doubling year-over-year revenues and acquiring RedPoint Network Systems and Pine Mountain Group to expand its product and services offerings. In addition, NetQoS launched the NetQoS Performance Center, a management portal that integrates its product suite via a single Web console to help organizations be more effective in network performance management. NetQoS has a rapidly growing list of more than 500 blue-chip customers, an annual revenue growth rate of nearly 100 percent since 2002, and sustained profitability.
Also today, Deloitte announced that NetQoS ranked number 7 on its Technology Fast 50 list of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Texas. In 2005, NetQoS ranked number 31 on the Deloitte 2005 Technology Fast 500 list of the fastest growing technology companies in North America. CEO Trammell recently won a 2006 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Austin region and was also named the Austin Business Journal’s 2005 Private Company Executive of the Year. In addition, NetQoS was selected to the 2005 Red Herring 100 Private Companies of North America list, which recognized the company for its compelling technology and strong customer base.
