Though vehicle operator negligence is often the primary cause of motor vehicle injury accidents, other issues can enter into the equation
Hartford, Ct (PRWEB) August 15, 2012
The Hartford and New Haven personal injury lawyers at the Law Offices of Mark E. Salomone & Morelli alert all Connecticut drivers that a recent car crash reveals the degree of vehicle damage that can be caused by one reckless driver in residential Connecticut areas.
A recent roll-over car accident in Meriden, which is off Interstate 91 between Hartford and New Haven, revealed the unique risks of Connecticut car accidents in the suburbs, as it left several cars damaged.
The police had arrested the driver of a car that rolled over early Thursday on a street lined with parked cars, WFSB in Hartford reported. The driver was alone in the vehicle when he lost control of the car in the densely populated neighborhood, sideswiped two parked cars and then flipped over, according to police. Police said he fled the scene but grabbed a container from inside the car. It appeared to be a Red Bull energy drink, but police said drugs were found within the vehicle.
Hartford auto accident lawyers at the Law Offices of Salomone & Morelli say one out-of-control vehicle in Connecticut can lead to multiple-vehicle collisions due to the amount of traffic congestion in suburban neighborhoods.
“Though vehicle operator negligence is often the primary cause of motor vehicle injury accidents, other issues can enter into the equation,” says Attorney Joe Morelli. “Speeding is one of the top causes of automobile accidents in the nation. Speed laws vary from state to state, but each state expects drivers to travel at safe speeds based on the situation. Things like road conditions, visibility, weather and amount of traffic are more important in determining the safest speed, as opposed to the posted speed limit.”
In this case, the force of the first car crash impact pushed two parked cars together causing further vehicle damage. The reckless vehicle then rolled over before slamming into a third parked car and coming to a stop on the otherwise quiet Connecticut street.
After a search, police found the reckless Connecticut driver hiding in the backyard of a nearby home. He was arrested and is facing multiple charges related to the car crash rollover.
