The What House? Awards 2011, now in their 30th year, are renowned as the Oscars of the housebuilding industry, and are respected symbols of quality and excellence. A celebration of the crème de la crème of Britain’s new-build homes, housebuilders have competed throughout the year to be shortlisted and chosen for an award, one of the highest accolades in the business, across a wide range of categories.
The results will be announced on Friday November 18th at a gala presentation luncheon at the prestigious Grosvenor House hotel, Park Lane, Mayfair, with opportunities for guests to mingle with some of the most important names in the industry.
The Awards will be hosted by popular comedian and actor Hugh Dennis of BBC comedy sitcom Outnumbered and Mock the Week fame.
“At this stage, industry figures need to reserve tickets to the ceremony to avoid any last minute anxieties on table availability,” says Globespan Media Managing Director Derek Smith. “The Awards undoubtedly offer the best opportunity of the year to see many of Britain’s new home designs under one roof. Now the market is vastly improving for the industry, with both sales and the number of new homes being built on the rise, it’s an opportunity for housebuilders to prove their worth to their customers.
“The quality of the event’s sponsors is testament to the prestige of the Awards and how highly respected they are by housebuilders, suppliers and homebuyers alike. Tables can be reserved for up to twelve guests, but individual seats are also available.”
