Several lawyers from the New Jersey personal injury firm of Davis, Saperstein & Salomon, P.C., spoke at the New Jersey Association for Justice’s recent Boardwalk Seminar in Atlantic City.
The annual three-day convention and conference took place in the last week of April at the Bally’s Hotel & Casino. An estimated 2,000 lawyers from throughout New Jersey attended the event, which featured speakers from across the U.S. giving presentations on trial practice and litigation.
“It’s always an honor for us to share our insights and experiences with other attorneys and advance our common goal of making sure that those who are harmed by the negligence of others receive the compensation they deserve,” said Garry R. Salomon, the firm’s Managing Partner and a veteran New Jersey personal injury attorney.
“Participating in events such as the Boardwalk Seminar also allows our firm to learn about the latest trends and strategies in accident litigation, which ultimately benefits our clients,” he said.
At the Boardwalk Seminar, Salomon served as Co-Chair and Moderator of the “Litigation at Sunrise” seminar. He gave a presentation on direct examination tips and demonstrated a direct- and cross-examination of a doctor as an expert and fact witness. Salomon also gave an hour-long presentation as part of “Trial Examinations 101.”
In addition to acting as Co-Chair of the NJAJ’s New Lawyers Section and as a co-host of its annual New Lawyers party, Senior Associate Adam Lederman demonstrated expert witness techniques at the Boardwalk Seminar.
Steven H. Cohen, Chair of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Section, also represented the firm at the event. He served as a Co-Chair in charge of planning, organizing and conducting an all-day seminar on New Jersey workers’ compensation issues.
