TVNZ’s trail-blazing new news and current affairs show, Seven Sharp, will be sponsored by online savings specialist RaboDirect.
RaboDirect New Zealand is a subsidiary of Rabobank New Zealand Ltd.
TVNZ Head of Sales Jeremy O’Brien says the sponsorship deal was up and running when the news programme launched on Monday.

Over time we expect to introduce a level of innovation in this partnership that reflects the very different nature of the programme.”
GM Melanie Templeton says RaboDirect sees the current affairs show Seven Sharp as the perfect fit for a business that embraces straight talking.
“Seven Sharp is looking to take a different approach with their new format and is taking current affairs into the digital space. As an online savings specialist we feel we will both appeal to internet-savvy viewers who are socially aware and up with the play. Seven Sharp goes to air for the first time tonight, at seven sharp(ish). The show is produced by TVNZ News.
