A proud moment for us all

Hyundai Motor Company, the Korean car manufacturer, has announced their top performing distributors for 2011, and Hyundai New Zealand has outperformed the competition to win this highly regarded award.

This is the first time Hyundai New Zealand, which is 100% locally owned and operated, has won the award outright - they shared the award with the Philippines in 2006. Other finalists for the 2011 award included much larger new car markets like China, Japan, Vietnam and Laos who have also performed strongly in their respective markets.

Andy Sinclair, Hyundai NZ National Sales Manager said it is ‘a proud moment for us all’.

This reward reflects excellence in new cars' sales growth, developing the dealer network, extensive advertising and marketing efforts, after-sales service, delivering a great customer experience and sharing Hyundai’s global vision. This is Hyundai NZ's second global award for 2011. They won the Global Marketing Award for the Elantra sedan campaign.

Hyundai Motors currently ranks an impressive second position in the New Zealand new car market year-to-date.

Hyundai Motors NZ attributes their on-going success to their talented, committed and passionate team who all contribute to our great results in new cars sales, and a keen focus on delivering a great customer experience.
