Executive Chef Clifford Saladin Creates Memories for New Jersey Weddings

Bergen County Hotel, Hilton Woodcliff Lake announces appointment of Executive Chef and launch of progressive new menus for restaurant, room service and banquets.

Chef Saladin is playing a key role in implementing a progressive approach to the hotel’s new outlet and room service menus, which have recently been unveiled in Saffron, the hotel’s signature restaurant and in Nickleby’s Lounge.

New Jersey weddings, already very popular at the Hilton Woodcliff Lake, have taken on a whole new meaning with the appointment of Executive Chef Clifford Saladin. Chef Saladin is playing a key role in implementing a progressive approach to the hotel’s new outlet and room service menus, which have recently been unveiled in Saffron, the hotel’s signature restaurant and in Nickleby’s Lounge. In addition, Chef Saladin will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of the catering facilities as well as revamping the hotel’s banquet menus.

Saladin joins the full service, premier hotel located in northern Bergen County, NJ from the Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel, where he served as Executive Chef for the past three years. During his tenure at the Sheraton, Chef Saladin functioned as culinary leader of the hotel’s restaurant and banquet operations which will serve him well in his new role as Executive Chef at the Hilton Woodcliff Lake Bergen County restaurant. Prior to that, Chef Saladin was in charge of maintaining high standards in food preparation and management as Sous Chef for the exclusive Riverside Yacht Club in Riverside, CT and as Executive Sous Chef at the Hilton Rye Town. He also served as Banquet Chef at the Marriott Park Ridge and spent over ten years with Marriott Hotels.
