NewsWatch, one of America’s longest running independent TV news magazines is celebrating its 20th year on the air. Airing in over 180 markets nationwide, the series began production in December, 1989 and recently celebrated its 800th original episode. During that period, NewsWatch has featured more than 12,000 individual stories on a wide range of subjects including: medical breakthroughs, finance, travel, new product introductions, public policy issues, entertainment, legal issues and numerous other topics.

NewsWatch has also become a favorite destination for many of America’s top entertainers and celebrities who have appeared on the program to discuss the issues and causes they support. Over the last decade, Hollywood stars such as Diane Lane, Kate Walsh, Ted Danson, Ashley Judd, Pam Anderson and Keri Russel, musical performers Sting, Willie Nelson and Jewel, chefs Wolfgang Puck and Bobby Flay and Olympic Champions Mary Lou Retton and Shannon Miller are just a few of the national celebrities who have made appearances on NewsWatch.
