New York, New York (PRWEB) February 07, 2013
Marc S. Albert of the Law Offices of Marc S. Albert recently posted new information on his New York Injury Website discussing the major importance of construction zone safety. The content was added following two recent and catastrophic accidents which took place in Queens.
The first construction accident, which took place on January 9th according to the Wall Street Journal, involved a crane which collapsed at 46th Avenue and Center Boulevard in Queens and injured seven people and left several trapped. The second fatal accident, reported by The Times Ledger, occurred on January 29th in Astoria, after a construction worker fatally plummeted into a 10-feet-deep hole. The worker was taken to Mt. Sinai Queens Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
"Accidents like these are devastating, and only further demonstrates why construction safety is of the utmost importance,” said personal injury lawyer, Marc S. Albert. “Failure to make safety priority number one can have devastating ramifications. Construction safety should never be sacrificed to finish a job quicker or cheaper.”
