Located on the 30th floor of the Art Deco style building, the office contained tremendous views of both Grand Central Station as well as the Chrysler Building and was subleased to a private equity research and sales firm with their headquarters located in Japan. The move in date was set for August 15th 2012.
The Ukrainian Airline company trusted VB Porter & Company to review and renew the lease on their current office space in New York on the 29th floor at the Graybar building where they have been located since 2003. VB Porter & Company was able to negotiate for the airline not only discounted rates on their monthly rental costs, but also a large number of concessions for the tenant as well.
With the closing taking place just last week, VB Porter & Company has also successfully represented the buyer in the purchase of the leasehold of a restaurant located in midtown on 9th avenue. The Irish Pub of approximately 2,500 square feet will remain open throughout the transaction.
VB Porter & Company is also currently still in the process of subleasing another New York office space in the Chanin building on the 3rd floor, 8,317 square feet. The space overlooks 42nd street directly across from the Hyatt and is in excellent condition with above standard installations and is looking to be subleased at below market rents.
